"Bhatkal TMC Administration has collapsed totally, will bring it back on track", says new TMC chief

Bhatkal: "Administration in Bhatkal Town Municipality is completely collapsed, no one has control over the staffs, the developments and all other matters will run smoothly only when the staffs are under control, my focus will be on the staffs to do their job well. I assure you all that I will bring Bhatkal Municipality back on tracks", stated newly elected Bhatkal TMC President Parvez Khasimji. He was addressing after getting felicitated by the office bearers of Bhatkal Muslim Khaleej Council at a meeting chaired at Rabita hall.

Further speaking, President Parvez Khasimji assured with full confidence that in the next few days the Bhatkal citizens will feel the difference in the Municipality, and said that the Municipality will get back on tracks. He assured that he would do his utmost best to resolve all the issues drawn by Khaleej Council.

The few issues presented by Khaleej Council included shifting of the fish market, the issue of removing illegal petty shops, the drainage system, the cleanliness of the town, the problems with the new four-lane highway and many more. Mr Parvez Khasimji said that even though the list has been presented to him, with the support of all his 23 councillors, he will do his best to resolve these issues wisely.

It may be recalled that in the elections held for the posts of President and Vice President for Bhatkal Municipality on Thursday, Tanzeem-backed candidates Parvez Khasimji and Qaiser Mohtesham were elected unopposed respectively.

On the occasion, former President of Rabita Society Muhammad Sadique Pillur welcomed the newly elected TMC President and Vice President and presented the issues of Bhatkal. Former general secretary SJ Hashim and Mohiuddin Ruknaddin Kochobapa felicitated them. Secretary of Rabita Society Maulana Tanveer Jushidhi along with many representatives of Bhatkal based Gulf organizations were present. Municipal Vice President Qaiser Mohtasham also presented his views in the meeting.
